APPLICATION
The Sealed Type Rivet is specifically engineered to encase the nail head post-riveting, effectively preventing rusting. Notably, the closed-end blind rivet is highly suited for applications requiring waterproofing, boasting remarkable shear force, vibration resistance, and high pressure endurance. Sealed type blind rivets find their niche in riveting scenarios demanding high loads and specific sealing performance. These closed-type pop rivets are extensively employed across a spectrum of industries including construction, automotive, marine, aviation, machinery, electronics, and furniture manufacturing.
Distinguished by its unique design, the Closed Pop Rivet features a solid core tail structure, effectively blocking the passage of steam and liquid around the rivet body. Furthermore, closed blind rivets exhibit a 20% higher tensile strength compared to open rivets of the same specifications. Noteworthy is the assurance that 100% of the rivet heads remain intact, rendering them highly favored in electronic and electrical equipment applications. Mid-east closed-type blind rivets are available in dome head, countersunk head, and large flange head variants. Material options include various combinations such as aluminum/steel, aluminum/aluminum, aluminum/stainless steel, stainless steel/stainless steel, and steel/steel, among others.

Dome head rivet is the most widely used, and the size of the open type blind rivet is; 4.0mm, 4.8mm, 5mm, 6.4mm.
The closed type blind rivet has a sealing effect. It is generally used on the components that require sealing requirements, and the open type rivet has no sealing function. The closed type pop rivet is a completely closed core rivet. Or leakage can be applied to a connected environment with sealing requirements.
The dimensions of closed rivets are: 3/32",1/8",5/32",3/16",1/4"
